Course Description: AIA = 1.5 HSW LU, GBCI = Self report Austin Energy Green Building developed the first rating system in the U.S. Since 1991, AEGB has certified over 21,000 green buildings. Join us to learn about the process and specifics of the Single Family, Multifamily and Commercial ratings. Understand how the ratings inform City of Austin zoning rules and energy codes. Explore how the rating system compares to and complements other certifications like LEED and WELL. Speakers will also share a case study that highlights the environmental, health and conservation benefits of using these best practices.Continuing Education Credits: • AEGB staff will report your 1.5 AIA Learning Units (HSW/LUs). • Self report your GBCI (CEUs). • You can find your certificates in the “My Certificates” under the profile menu. • Email the certificate to your AEGB representative if you are taking this course for a rating measure. • Email greenbuilding@austinenergy.com if you need assistance.
